Safeguarding Lay Member vacancy

Help us keep adults and children safe in Gateshead

Would you like to be a lay member of the Gateshead Safeguarding Adults Board and Safeguarding Children Partnership?

Lay members are not expected to be experts in Safeguarding. Our lay members must however be able to demonstrate an interest in community and social issues, preferably with a history of involvement in them.

Initially for 12 months, the lay member role would require a commitment of approximately 10 days per year. Although the roles are not paid, travel and training expenses will be paid.

For an information pack and application details please contact Carole Paz-Uceira by phone on 0191 433 2378 or by email .

Closing date: Friday 31 January 2020
