Logo
Safeguarding Week 2025 will be running from Monday 17 November to Friday 21 November. The theme for this year's event is "Prevention - Act Before Abuse".

Safeguarding Week runs annually and is promoted and supported by the Ann Craft Trust (opens new window).

This is a time for organisations to come together to raise awareness of important safeguarding issues. The aim is to highlight key safeguarding issues, start conversations and raise awareness of safeguarding best practice.

Gateshead Safeguarding Adults Board and Gateshead Safeguarding Children Partnership and are once again joining together during the national adults Safeguarding Week 2025, to raise awareness about safeguarding both children and adults and showing the importance of "safeguarding being everyone's business".

Safeguarding children, young people, adults and families remains a priority for all of us. Help us to make our joint Safeguarding Week a success by celebrating and sharing good practice, and raising awareness of the services you provide to protect and support all people in Gateshead.
